    WHAT: I have confirmed with T-Mobile USA that there is a glitch in their system (aka the middle man between you and BlackBerry) which may cause BlackBerry services to be down. You may not have the BlackBerry indicator by your signal strength and coverage type. A support ticket has been put through to the engineers to resolve this issue.


    WHO: A representative from their BlackBerry specialist team said I was the 4th person to report this but he doesn't know how widespread the issue is.


    WHEN: The official ticket turnaround time us 3 business days, but the representative believes it will be resolved by the end of day due to past experiences.


    HOW: To work around this issue while we wait for a fix, use WiFi to access BlackBerry services.

    My folks have it and use BIS on OS7.1 devices.

    I don't have it, and only need BlackBerry services for BBM.

    Same coverage area.

    I noticed it did something at lunch and I lost all data services. Turned airplane mode on, then off after a few seconds and it fixed it.

    Holy app pages Batman!

    On topic: Hope your service returns soon. I'm on VZW and lost service momentarily last week, but I think it happened after I installed a leaked OS. A quick restart fixed the issue though.
