Hey fams, since I have updated to this newly released OS from T-mobile, I have been having issues with wi-fi calling/UMA. I constantly get a notification telling me to connect to wi-fi to enable UMA although I'm already connected. The only way it "used" to work was if I re-booted when in range of my wi-fi. I have tried this on both hidden and non-hidden networks and it previously worked with the re-boot. Now for some reason it won't at all anymore. I have tinkered around in the settings and nothing seems to work. Anyone else having issue with UMA after this update? Any suggestions or fixes recommended?

Also on TMO's 10.2.1 on a Z10. On the TMO wi-fi app I keet it set at 'cellular preferred'. No serious problems here though.

I do notice that my wifi networks sometimes end up getting disabled so I end up without wi-fi calling until I manually enable the disabled wi-fi.

So aside from the I that, so far so good.

What's the issue? That you keep getting a notification?

Make a call using wifi. It'll go away.

It's unfortunate the notification doesn't give more information.

There is no UMA available for the Q10 on T-Mobile. WiFi calling only.
Make a call using WiFi calling and you should see a pop up letting you know you can now use the service.

Let me say again, I am connected to Wifi and constantly get the "connect to wi-fi to enable wi-fi calling notification." Wi-fi calling was partially working before, I just had to restart my Q10 when in range of Wifi and there were no further notifications except for the initial one. When wi-fi calling stopped working the notifications started, I wish there is a way to turn it off.

Finally found the way to turn it off, there was an app along. Found it while I was deleting unused apps.

I still will like to get to the bottom of the issue though.

Can I also ask what should I do if it says Error: ER05 "Invalid SIM Card"

That could be a bunch of things from as simple as needing to toggle Network Preferred to WiFi Preferred (or vice versa,) to actually needing to have your SIM card changed. I would call TMO support for this one. BTW this is not a BB10 specific error (nor was that E911 one.)

I faintly remember getting an error like that when I was using my 9810 (before I upgraded). I had to basically get a new sim card from TMO and then all was well th the world.
