AT&T being picky with unlock code
I've been with AT&T for many years and I've called them up and mentioned I'm in the military and I travel overseas a lot and got the SIM unlock code for my 8310 and 8900 before without any hassles at all, they gave it to me right then over the phone. I tried to get it for my 9700 and they said it'd take a week and they would email me when it's ready. Ok, whatever. I got a call from AT&T saying I needed to provide to them a receipt showing I paid FULL retail for it, not the discounted price. WTF? Maybe it's because the 9700 is their flagship phone? It's not like I'm selling the unlocked phones, I keep adding lines to my family plan as I hand them down to my wife and kids. Maybe I'll just keep calling back talking to different people.
