Has anyone heard when or if Bell is going to stop charging the $6.95 monthly system activation fee and also the carrier 911 fee....???? I understand that both Telus and Rogers have already done so. Perhaps a Bell rep could enlighten us,please.

Bell has retention plans with no access fees that they can offer customers if they threaten to leave.
I have the access fees waved off on my 5 phones.

Correct... it is confirmed as of tomorrow:

    $7.70 SAF & 911 fee = gone
Call Forwarding = included in all plans
+$5 Price increase on all plans.

Basically savings of $2.70 and free call forwarding...

Only new customers or if you switch your contract. Old contracts keep it, but it's actually a few dollars cheaper to switch to a new plan unless your going to lose some credits

Yeah, but you add the government regulatory fee of $2.58 (in ontario at least).

    Woot, saved $0.12!
