Hey Guys,

I'm new here...and I searched! Anyways, I have a 8220 Flip with GMAIL (I still have to set it up).

Anyways, do I need Google Sync to sync my calendar/contacts with the BB, or will it do it automatically? Does Google Sync require a data plan? (I just have unlimited email plan, no data )

Also, does the flip support GMAIL IMAP?

I do believe that google imap is supported, You do need data to download and run google sync, and you would need to sync your calendar and contacts through google sync, it won't happen automatically.

Outlook is your better bet.
