I'm thinking of getting the Keyone. I see Sprint has the Total Equipment Protection Plus but I'd rather avoid that. So who handles the warranty? Contact Sprint or BBMobile?

it's completely through Sprint...as I found out recently when Sprint replaced my device for free (with TEP)
I also could only get the device replaced through TEP. Despite the problem being clearly a Sprint network issue IMO. My phone was still under manufacturer warranty, but no way to resolve without TEP. I hate paying for it though, but plan to keep it for several months.
Apparently if you insist whatever you have is a hardware issue, BB Mobile (TCL) may replace it...only one confirmed report of this by another Sprint user
I've been using the K1 for a few months now on Sprint and found their network to be solid where I work and at home. No real signal issues.
The main problem right now is certain units, when a new firmware is received, lose all LTE permanently. I also had TEP and glad I used it to get a fast replacement. Funny thing it's the same HW24 version as the other unit...but just happy it's working fine on LTE.
