Just simply call Sprint and ask to be compensated for the inconvenience. They should offer between $20-$25.

Last night I downgraded my Tour from 5.0 to 4.7 OS because I couldnt stand not having nav, bluetooth and smooth playback on my media player.
Yeah I am downgrading as well til it works properly.

North Central Ohio here. Get this - wife and I both have 8330s. She is sitting beside me some 4+ hours ago browsing. I can't connect.

Hard reboot 5x, nada. Tried resending service books. Nada.

Wait 20 minutes on hold with Sprint. The guy tells me it is a data server outage since 1148AM, and they have no idea when it'll come back up.

While talking to him. I try the browser again, and voila! Weird.

Here I thought FB 1.7 upgrade on my device and not my wife's caused the problem.

My dad called Sprint about half an hour ago complaining about the problem (because I had been complaining all day.) They gave him a 40 credit. Not even a half of a dollar! Sprint told my dad it was a "power outage" and counted it as a "dropped call". I'm just happy to have working service.

I understand how you can say, "get over it.." we may be sounding like whiney babies and the like. But when you pay for a device because its part of your business, because its part of how you make your living. Its no small thing. My main problem with this outage was communication. No one at sprint could tell me anything and thats what is pushing me to another provider.
