What incredible freaking timing.
Last night I downgraded my Tour from 5.0 to 4.7 OS because I couldnt stand not having nav, bluetooth and smooth playback on my media player.
Yeah I am downgrading as well til it works properly.
I am finally connected after 8+ hours of having a fancy texting phone. Glad to have my Tour working properly. I'm in the NYC area, and didn't have any BIS when I woke up this m orning at 8a.
just got off the phone with sprint tech they say that the outage has cleared. I just took the battery out of my phone wi will see if it has actually cleared or not.
My dad called Sprint about half an hour ago complaining about the problem (because I had been complaining all day.) They gave him a 40 credit. Not even a half of a dollar! Sprint told my dad it was a "power outage" and counted it as a "dropped call". I'm just happy to have working service.
the Chiefs won, but I still have no Blackberry I am 60 miles from Sprint HQ....if it isn't on by morning I think I will go picket the building!! Obviously it IS Sprint and NOT Rim, because no other carriers are having issues!
Well im just doing some transfers of monies from one bank account to another and then im headed over to T-Mobile and im gonna cop that Blackberry Curve 8520. Is there any other phones you would suggest from T-Mobile peeps?
Well, I'm back in business.
And tomorrow I'm upgrading to the Tour...with Sprint.
All carriers have outages ppl, get over it.

I understand how you can say, "get over it.." we may be sounding like whiney babies and the like. But when you pay for a device because its part of your business, because its part of how you make your living. Its no small thing. My main problem with this outage was communication. No one at sprint could tell me anything and thats what is pushing me to another provider.
