    Has anyone else experienced this? I have a Z10, and every now and then my phone will simply refuse to have service for a little while, with the icon bouncing between full bars to none to one to the red X, all the while not actually working. Usually it's for maybe up to an hour before it starts working again, but it's been crapped out for going on almost two hours now. Enabling and re-disabling airplane mode doesn't help, nor does doing a battery pull. The only thing that seems to have any effect is prayer and luck. Nobody else in my family, who has basically the same plan, has had any service issues.

    I brought my phone in to a Verizon outlet about this a while back, and they immediately started going on about getting a new phone, which I can't do until March unless I want to pay full price. If my phone's hardware is kaput then I'll have to just hope it works well enough to wait until then, but I'm really hoping that's not the case.

    Take the right one for your device.

    Take the right one for your device again.
    Both of them are autoloaders, so they will wipe your device. Install your Z10 again from scratch and look if the problem stays.

    How old is your sim card? Apparently this makes a difference. If it is like from 2013, ask for a new one.

    Why not load the latest official Verizon OS, 10.2.1.3289. That may fix it for you.
