Will an unlocked BlackBerry Z10 STL100-3 currently on the Rogers (Canadian provider) network work on the MetroPCS network in California?

    Thanks!

Historically, MetroPCS used CDMA network technology, so you would need a CDMA device. (The STL100-3 is not)

However T-Mobile is merging with MetroPCS and is planning to eventually convert the network to 3GPP/GSM, which would work on an STL100-3.

Though I don't know if there has been much progress on that switch yet. I'd imagine not, since the merger was just finalized something like 6 months ago.

On a Tmob z10, you can see the metro PCS LTE. I can't connect obviously. I wonder if they are the same?
