Hi guys, i recently placed an order at rogers for torch 9800
I just want to know if any one has tried inserting a fido
Sim Card without getting it unlocked does it work????

Or if there's no choice ........will unlocking the device void my warranty?

You'll have to ask Rogers about the warranty, and whether you still have a warranty with RIM regardless.

For your first, no the Fido SIM won't work unless you get it unlocked. Only a Rogers SIM without unlocking. Why did you order it through Rogers, but now want to put in the Fido SIM anyway? Are you buying nonicontract from Rogers?

Yeah I was thinking about that too, but I believe they treat each as separate entities when it comes to issues like this Anonymous couple calls to CS will shed some light!
