Rogers has partnered up with GetJar to offer their customers over 60,000 free mobile apps. GetJar is the world’s second largest app store, just behind Apple’s App Store and have apps in different categories such as games, social networking, sports, entertainment and productivity. Rogers joins Sprint, Sony Ericsson, 3UK and Virgin Mobile France who offer a similar app store to their clients.

I steer clear of GetJar. I'm sure it's a great service for a lot of people, but I frequently get offered apps there that fail installing due to one error or another. Just tried it again now, same thing... Invalid COD. Plus the versions it gives are generic, not BB specific (like UC web browser).

Yayyy! A bunch of apps you can easily find elsewhere. While the rest are most likely not even compatible with your device despite GetJar saying they are.
My experience with GetJar has always been horrible, I dunno why I keep giving them a chance and returning to see if anything has changed.
