Interesting fact I heard but I have a buddy who told me how Rogers employees earn extra commission when they sell BlackBerry Devices. Why is it that the employees don't try to push these devices if I step into a Rogers store. They seem to be misinformed of the phones.

Apple also pays a commission. So why fight to convince someone to buy BlackBerry when Apple is easier to sell ?

Not so sure. I was in Telus today and saw one rep sell Q10. Another was fixing another device and someone was buying an Android slab of some sort. I didn't really see them "pushing" any devices. Most people knew what they wanted before getting there and the staff answered their questions and sold them what they asked for.

Getting information to the masses (advertising) is the way to get more sales. But the amount spent on an advertising budget vs device price is a fine line.

That's how all sales people should sell. Provide answers and sell the customer what they want and need.
