My first 3 Rogers 9700 were all defective. The 1st one with loose bezel, 2nd one with loose trackpad and the 3rd one with loose bezel again.

I m now waiting for the 4th one and hope I will eventually get a perfect device.

Does RIM actually have QC before sending the stocks out??

I remember back in the day of the brick BB's. Every single one was built exactly to almost perfect. I don't remember any hardware problems with the 87xx but the major battery drain. It took 5 8310's later for me to get a almost perfect device when I first got year an half ago and yet the trackball was still wiggles.

3 already....wow. My bro's 9700 so far doesn't seem to have those problems but I guess there's always some of them with poor build quality.

hmm i tried out my friends blackberry 9700 the other day seemed fairly solid and well built maybe just unlucky? that sucks though
