I just reached the 1/2 way mark into my 2 year contract last month. Now, I recieved this email from AT&T yesterday:

Simply agree to renew on a new 11-month contract, and we�ll credit your account for one month�s service charge�the amount you pay in monthly plan charges for each eligible wireless line.
PLUS, you�re still eligible to upgrade your phone on each qualifying line at our great prices!*
(Upgrades may require up to a new two-year service agreement.)

Does this mean that if I take this offer, I can upgrade my phone too, or are they only offering one free month of service?
vzw lets "vip" ugrade phones annually. if you want a new phone you should find out. call the CS now...
I've been with Cingular/AT&T for about 12 years now. I just got a 9530 Storm last month, and I have it working just fine. I don't want to change to VZW. I was just curious about the offer.
