ok so i have a moto droid an i think i want to go back to blackberry (had a 8900 curve on att before this) i found a couple people that would trade my Droid for their Tours..my question is do i deactivate my droid do the trade then activate their tour after or whats the best way to go about this? thanks
Well ud have to have another esn active on your account. So yes, deactivate your droid.

so i would just deactivate it (i have verizon do this correct) an just activate an older phone, i think i have an old VZ razor...then when i get the new BB just activate that correct....sorry for the noobness
You would have to do it in the store or by calling if you switch to a dumbphone because you'll be removing the data plan. So you switch your ESN, do the trade, then activate the new phone and deactivate your dumb phone.
