Now that BlackBerry OS 10.2.1.2228 is available on all platforms, has anyone tested an unlocked Z30 with WiFi calling? Does it work? If so, which STL model are you using? etc..

WFC won't be granted to the Z30 unless Tmo starts selling the device. It's not in their best interest to support devices in which they don't sell. Offering WFC on the Z30 would require adding it to their device support list and that never happens for free.

So, don't expect any news unless Tmo starts selling the device.

Any radio file manipulation possible? Extract from the Z/Q10 (now that these two devices do have a 10.2 build for themselves) and inject into the Z30?

So au contraire, mon ami: It is very much in T-Mobile's interest, and a win-win, to let an unlocked Z30 work 100% on its network!

So it's really up to BB to work with TM and provide the feature for the Z30... Hopefully they do this once the Verizon exclusive expires and they start to sell it direct from the BB Store... Until then, I guess it's hopeless...

IMO it's going to take even more than that, i.e. TMO itself selling the phones. UnCarrier's largely just a pretty moniker.

Lets hope TMob will get their #%$ in gear, and add the Z30 to the line up, so we can get the WiFi calling too.
I just ordered a Z30 from ShopBlackBerry (battery in the 9900 finally gave out, couldn't wait for TMob), and even though I have been a long time customer of TMob, I just looked at the VZW website, thinking of switching, but I decided to hold out for 6-12 more months.
Next time I will vote with my wallet and leave them, if they keep being so BB unfriendly.
