For the past day and a half I have only had Edge service where I would normally have strong 3G service. I am in San Jose, Ca anyone else seeing this or just me?

Well a solution for me. I had updated a program that required a reboot to my 9700 and when it booted back up I was back in 3G land.

Nice try but your Verizon map shows the whole state of MS covered and I can tell you for one. I cant even suscribe to Verizon where I live, they dont offer any service so go figure that one out Not ribbing you just pointing out some facts. I would like to have Verizon service here along with others but it is not available, let alone 3G.

I have 3G on my iPhone here in my small suburb near Philadelphia at the moment. Last Saturday I only had EDGE and called AT&T and they did something over the phone (reset network?) and my 3G came back. Hope yours will come back soon; I know how frustrating it is to not have it. Good luck!

A lot of times when you hard reset a phone in this case a blackberry pull out the battery for about 15-30 seconds and restart the phone and that fixes network issues all the time.
