    Anyone have a free/cheap way to get this S1 unlocked to work flawlessly on AT&T? Friend wants to purchase but is under contract with AT&T.

    If you search around here there are a bunch of sites that people have used, or if you're on Verizon I think you can ask them.

    I think you can tell them you need it unlocked and they don't ask but I'm not sure?

    You have to have a active account with the carrier and fall within their guidelines. if not we unlock it for you.

    I have an active account, 2 storms and a netbook...i give them more each month than i do for my truck....ridiculous i know but we have to stay connected....i will ask them today and if not i will certainly bring my business your way.
