Ok, so an old faithful blackberry customer decided to ditch his Android and come back with the Storm 2 and I can't set up it up. Why? Because Blackberry has a Nationwide Outage as of 3:50 pm EST. GRRRRRR!

Ours only JUST went out here As of 7:00 pm( we have Sprint) Its been fine up until now!

This is becoming ridiculous. Emails were down the other day, now I can't get BB messenger or the browser up and running. I need to be compensated for all this down time!!!!!

Don't use BBM, but no data apps or BES messages are being delivered for me. AT&T in California. Also sent a test PIN message from our BES and that didn't come through.

Just got my blackberry Sunday and was really confused about BBM not working then a rep explained It to me. Does this happen often?

Agreed. I upgraded to vlingo 4.0 but now can't do anything because it needs the BIS in order to activate and download.

My understanding is that the iPhone's plans are much more expensive.

A colleague's 8310 died while we were in Beijing so he moved his SIM card over to his old iPhone and ended up with a $2000 bill for all the roaming charges.

Has that changed?

They've definitely been more frequent--AND longer in duration. I've been down since 2:00 p.m. local time. That's over 7 hours already.

Yeah I have been down ever since 12:00 pm today and it still is down.. I am thinking of getting an iPhone *I hate to but damn 7.5 hours and still down = not good*...
