I wonder why whenever anybody posts a Verizon link like above, I'm left on a generic verizon page and not the one in the link. This also happens when someone posts a link to the Verizon page that mentions the update versions or new versions of OS. Always the same generic page

Possibly because you're viewing on a desktop? I'm on a phone (mobile version of site), and it sends me to the page.

I thought the parsing looked funny (new site format), so I tested it before posting on my laptop, using Firefox. Just checked again using mobile Firefox and Chrome, both set to desktop. IDKY you're having an issue @FF22, but try searching Verizon BYOD, and it should be the first link.
