    I am a new blackberry user - how often do these "service outages" happen, and what is the usual ETA for them to be corrected?

    This is a RIM network issue, not a carrier issue. They tell you it's carrier related, but if you speak with anyone else with another type of smartphone other then a Blackberry, they'll tell you their data is working just fine. So yeah, Blackberry/RIM issue.

    It's pretty obvious when users of ALL carriers are without service.

    Thank you, I needed a good laugh. All this Bing **** for us Verizon customers, and then an outage today, I haven't had a good laugh in a while.
