Tried today. Not true no matter who I talked to and I've been with verizon since they were bell Atlantic.

I had it for two years. $60/mo, unlimited talk and text and 2MB data. Then found out that if I switched to the new 3MB plan, and used my wife's school employee discount (18%), it would actually save me money.

I have a "$15 Off Month-to-Month" credit on each line (2 total). We own all of our equipment outright and are off contract entirely.
With that and a corporate discount, we pay just $110 a month for two phones and a tablet on an unlimited talk & Text 3GB plan (not heavy data users - I have wifi at work and my wife isn't allowed to have a personal cellphone at work.)

The first line discount I set up over the phone, the second I did through the instant web message support on the website.

I gave up on trying to get the discount I've tried the multiple levels of customer service, chat, twitter and in the store. Not even a single dollar discount
