Well I got the phone unlocked thanks to cellunlock people.
But the only "unaccepted " sim I had was the new tmobile one. Now I find that the simcard is disabled and I can't make it go tho' I'm getting phone service> do I need to get a fresh sim?

@BBCS - Wow, nearly 5 years of active responses. Thank you!

I'm in Canada and wanted to confirm that an unlocked Verizon BB 9930 will still only work with Rogers/Fido. If so, I wish I read this forum before I got a Virgin SIM card. I attached a screen shot of the SIM Card settings to confirm the phone is unlocked.

After doing all the unlock steps, and disabling the activation required using ##000000, I get SOS for service. Also included a screen shot showing my home screen.

@BBCS i have paid the extra money for a unlock code on your website for quick response and unlock code, all i received was an email full of gibberish. Please help me need to get this working asap.
