i put my simcard but the phone doesnt ask for my pin-code when i turn it on.
when i go to options simcard its this what i see:

im trying to use vodafone Portugal / TMN portugal / optimus portugal. ( 3 diferent portuguese carrier's)
i can turn the phone ON with all simcards, but he doesnt ask for the PIN-code...
and when i click to turn the network ON he says "insert simcard"
Angelo, put a different carrier simcard (example: phone is vodafone, put t-mobile) and when the phone says "unlock" you put yes, and let me lnow how many tries left... If it says zero left, forget the unlocking! If it says 10 left or 8 left or 1 left, you just go to ebay and for 1$ you can find the code to unlock it. If you have any difficulty just answer here. Im online 24/7.
hi everyone newbie here...i need some help in my bb torch 9810, the story is this, i purchased my new bb phone in qatar & i used it there for a month & subscribed in bbm (the sim card that i am using is QTEL) & everything works fine. Now i'm here in the philippines & put my wife simcard (Globe) where she is also using in her bb curve. Now the problem is she can't use the bbm even she was already subscribed to bbm & paid, we know that it should appear "edge" but still 3G is appearing...we call Globe many times & talk, ask to helpdesk personally & checked the phone but they can't figure out why & what is the problem....we've been to IT phone shop but also failed....i checked if the phone is locked or unlocked by reading your thread here & follow the instruction, the network is disabled the service provider is disabled the rest are all disabled...no need for MEP2 code am i right? but still i also try to put the code but the MEP2 block or dialog box or whatever it is is not appearing by holding alt MEP2... we are tired of this i don't know what i will do now, we've tried everything...can someone help us please please, thanks in advance.
