really they are thinking of matching?
thats really different for them to do. are there that many people switching that fast?
.
Think you missed the DATE:qoute" Back on subject, I hear VZW will be matching Sprint on Feb 30th, 2010",
Vzw won't match cause they don't need to. Just like Sprint was the last to have an everything plan(meaning unlimited) they are now trying to match the calling circle/friends and family plans. Being johnny come lately means you have to add value or be perceived as playing catch-up so they are just doing what they have to to be competitive. That's not desperation its innovation and what Sprint needs. Will it pay off? Time will tell but it is a good sign that Sprint is turning the corner and I think has a good chance of making it.

Reason: should of said sprint was last to have an 'unlimited' plan
I just don't see any reply for this too-good-to-be-true dealfrom Sprint. Although as a former Alltel customer, I didn't see the My Circle/Friend and Fam thing coming either. But VZW Fam, I wouldn't hold my breath on this one. BTW, there's no way I would switch the Sprint/Nextel. Too many horror stories on sky high monthly bills and disgusting service.
Sprint had great prices and great customer service and I had them for almost three years. Verizons bill is $50 higher than my sprint bill was. The only reason I switched is I live in am area that sprint was a weak signal in.

Personally, I am still waiting to see your proof of ownership of 1 share of Verizon Wireless stock........................If you're on a budget, PM me your PAYPAL info and I would be more than happy to cover that 1 share of stock for you. Merry Christmas.
VZWs new price announcement is misdirection (what other people are calling a 'scam' which isn't quite accurate but it shows they weren't fooled by the misdirection). They are keeping you focused on the top tier price reductions while they jack up prices on the mid to low tier plans with the data plan requirement.
In other words, they are dropping prices on plan/phone combinations that 5% of people use, while increasing prices on plan/phone combinations that 55% of people use. (%s are for illustrative purposes only)
You're under no obligation to get a phone that requires a data plan, but if you look at which phones do/don't require a data plan, the ones that don't are cardboard boring.
