- Tthis is my 2nd Storm, after the last one was replaced due to perpetual OS crashes. Even after fresh installs. I am running the latest and official Telus greatest .122.
Telus will charge $100 to cancel the data plan, or one can wait until December 31st of this year(2009). To boot, I'm a mac owner, and the Pocket mac desktop replacement that Telus promoted when I got the Storm, is garbage. I even paid $200 in after market software to sync business calendar, contacts etc. to same failing results.
My question to all Telus Winnipeg owners: Have you been able to sell your contract? or have you been able to get out of it legally? I run a business and I'm a Mac owner. Right accross the board. No way to go PC. I,ve had the Talk Winnipeg contract for 7 years. As I sit here I contemplate legal action. PLEASE HELP!08-21-09 10:55 PMLike 0 - this is a bell plan, thought id post it here since there is no bell plan thread haha

09-02-09 10:41 AMLike 0 - I got the Student 35 Blackberry Plan (the new one that's being advertised). I thought it was decent for what I needed.
200 + 50 (bonus) anytime minutes
Unlimited texting
Unlimited social networking (myspace, fb, bb msgnr, windows live)
Nationwide calling to 5 numbers (long distance)
Conference Calling
Call Waiting
Unlimited 6pm Early Nights and Weekends
I might switch to a general data plan after my year or two is up since I'm an avid emailer and do feel that aspect missing
---
Any chance people had luck negotiating free caller id or a small voicemail plan if they've been a long time customer or after they've been in their plan for a year or two? I do hate not having it.09-02-09 10:46 PMLike 0 - I got the Student 35 Blackberry Plan (the new one that's being advertised). I thought it was decent for what I needed.

When my contract is up, I am negoiting on the price and the time daytime minutes.09-12-09 10:02 PMLike 0 -
- 300 Anytime Minutes
Unlimited (Extended) Evenings & Weekends
Canadian LD Home @ $0.10
Voice Mail 3, Call Forward, Call Waiting, Caller ID
$24.90/m after fees and taxes.
I'm thinking about getting a smartphone of some variety but it looks like atm the cheapest data plan is 30$/m for 6gb. That's more than I'd like to spend (and probably more data than I'd use... though I dunno).09-14-09 08:51 AMLike 0 - 300 Anytime Minutes

- Insane but I pay for 2 phones (share plan)
Phone 1 - Share 25 - 500 Incoming Minutes,
Phone 2 - Share 10 - Package 15 (Caller ID, Voicemail 10, Unlimited Text Msg), BB Smartphone Data Add-on 30 (6 GB)
I'm definitely paying over $100. How sad...
edit- I just read the last page, what? Unlimited data is it for $25? I need to call client care! Wait, what does the feature show up as on the bill?Last edited by tellmebb; 09-15-09 at 07:36 PM.

Its taken me about 2 years of complaining of Telus's problems, threatening to go to Rogers to get my plan to that. Everything is on there for the 3 year contract.
I called them asking to cancel my contract as for Rogers had offered me something way better (just bull****ting). When they asked me what there offer was, they got me on the spot with no prior research of Rogers plans, so I made something up but kept it semi reasonable...
They came back 5 mins later and had something better to offer.
I got my 50% off my voice plan just last month after they failed to activate something on my 5 fav national numbers. Iv had to call in for 3 months now because iv been charged about 300 a month for long distance (90% of the numbers were my 5 numbers, but they refund everything that was long distance)
So I told them I am going to be very pissed if I see long distance charges this month on my bill. We will see on the 26th....09-16-09 01:02 PMLike 0 - My Plan:
