Ok, So I just got off the phone with CS my new plan as of right now since I told them I wanted a better deal on the Tour, she said she could give me more free stuff instead... lol so here it is:
• Your Choice 50 – Double Minutes (1,000 anytime minutes) - $50
• North America 35 (Unlimited local North America Calling) - $35
• Unlimited Messaging - $10
• 5 pm early nights and weekends - $9
• Personal Email, IM & Web 30 (Unlimited data) - $30
• Caller ID – Free

and Taxes of $18.42
Total monthly cost now $160.12
So to sum up a long story, 2 days ago I was paying a base monthly charge before overages of $270.87. As of today I am paying for the exact same plan less 150 daytime minutes, but my evenings start at 5 now instead of 6 and I got voicemail 25 instead of voicemail 10 and I'm paying $160.12 a month, thats a savings of $110.75 PER MONTH or $1,329 per year!Last edited by J0nAthAn0001; 07-14-09 at 10:24 AM.
07-13-09 10:54 AMLike 0 - Is this a good offer. This kind of seems like there final offer to me
Telus is offering me the following:
450 anytime minutes
Unlimited data / text / email
Local Telus to Telus
Free evenings and weekends after 6pm
Free incoming unlimited minutes
voicemail / caller ID

All for $82 plus tax.
This is a new plan for me and they base it on the families long term commitment with Telus07-13-09 05:18 PMLike 0 - i'd take it if I were you. I'm paying about the same and i've got an employee discount so you're doing fine.07-14-09 12:39 AMLike 0
- $20 voice + $15 data + tax etc. = $ 44.83.
Gets:
250 mins daytime
6pm evenings/weekends
200 long distance mins
Voicemail 10
Caller ID
Unlimited text
Unlimited data
Unlimited local & long distance between my wife & I
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com07-14-09 10:03 AMLike 0 - I've got a pretty good plan... I think:
It's based on the old talk to me 25:
100 anytime minutes
100 north america long distance minutes
Unlimited incoming
My 5 national (includes long distance)
Unlimited e&w at 6pm
Caller ID
VM 3
Unlimited blackberry data for 25$
I was on the unlimited data at 15$ but had to change when I switched from my Diamond to the Tour... got free 6pm nights + caller id for the difference.
Total is 50$ + SAF + taxes07-16-09 08:47 AMLike 0 - 450 daytime minutes
unlimited evening and night starting at 6pm
Caller ID, Voice mail
unlimited text, e-mail, IM
Unlimited Data
25$ for the voice plan, It's a corporate deal, it includes text messages, voice mail, e-mail, IM caler ID. I added the unlimited data, 25$
So it cost me 65$ a month. I'm very happy with this.07-31-09 09:44 PMLike 0 - Hmm, now I want to see if I can top 6GB of data in a month... :P Tetherberry will help for sure.
For my plan:
Student 50
200 Local Minutes
My10 Nationwide Talk/Text/MMS
Unlimited Nights/Weekends @ 5pm
Unlimited Data
Student 15 Bundle
Unlimited Text
Caller ID
Voicemail 10
Including taxes it's about $84/month. Yes, I have a larger plan as a student, but some months I'll use upwards of 2500 minutes (don't ask, studying over the phone is a lot easier than Msn/texting). I almost never have overages, either. Maybe $2/month for some random long distance when traveling and that's it.
This is one of the best plans I've seen out there. When I got it finally it was out of circulation for a few months but I still got the code for it and got it.
~Bcloutier~08-02-09 11:38 PMLike 0 - sweet deals 20
200 day time min, unlimited evening weekend 6, conference calling, call waiting, unlimited text message, caller id, voice mail
+
personal email browsing unlimited data 25
61 after SAF and tax08-17-09 01:36 AMLike 0 - When I first signed on with Telus (almost a year now), I was given the Max 45 plan with a 100% off promo for the first year, so I've not paid a cent for talk in all that time. For data I'm using the Smartphone 35.
Now that the year's almost up, I'll have to look back through my bills and figure out how many minutes I really need before deciding to stay with that plan or change it out for something else.08-18-09 10:30 AMLike 0
