I pay $75 a month for 450 anytime minutes and 5,000 nights and weekend minutes plus 1,500 texts and unlimited data access on my Berry with att. That includes a corporate discount of 19% off the voice plan.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
with the break down.. for Verizon. it would be 99.99 for unlimited texting, unlimited email, unlimited nights/weekend, mobilw to mobile of course and unlimited data with 450 minutes. and if you qualify for your 19% dicount then it would be 19% off of 100 which would be 80. so thats a 5 dollar difference for unlimited eberything.

In your case youre probably paying 39.99 - 19% discount( almost 8 dollars) a 15 dollar texting messaing plan, and dont forget youre data plan!i dont know exactly what the data plan for AT&T is but if you seperated everything youre basically paying the same exact thing as Verizon. the only difference between vzdub and att is that were 2 different networks. 2 different technologies. pricing, (priceplans and maybe some features might differ minorly). when people leave att its usually because of a bad experience with a sales reppresentative. i dont even know who else it out there besides us.

im a verizon employee and whenever im not workng and people ask me about this, my theory is that tmobile or any carrier may not be the best as far as consumer reports, but if youre phone works wherever you need it to be working and you dont ifnd your self contantly frustrated because you travel a lot or whatever the case may be then you should definitly stick with what suits you best =) because those pricers are like unheard of lol. sprint is on their way down that road too

Cause Sprint can't compete with anyone else's coverage.

(This of course depends on where you live.. in my area my thumb can cover their coverage on a map. $99 unlimited is hardly a bargain if I can't use my device)

You can use you device in more places then Verizon....

Sprint has solid coverage, people here on the East Coast.

I must disagree on this one! Sprint has decent coverage if you are in Major Cities or on Interstate highways but if you moove up and down the East coast and you travel in small towns, rural areas, and spend alot of time in the South East, you had best invest in yourself a verizon phone if you want to communicate.

Back to the "thread at hand" ... On my personal plan I spend about $125.00 a month on three phones on the family shar 700 plan.

Question ... I am considering upgrading one of my personal phones to a BB. What is the difference in the plan "Email and Web for BlackBerry" for $29.99 and the plan "Blackberry Solution Unlimited Data Usage" for $44.99? What are the limitations on the $29.00 plan?

The 29.99 plan will cover unlim data and use of personal types of email, ie aol or gmail.

The 44.99 plan covers unlim data, but includes corporate provision that allow the device to communicate with a BES server. Bes servers are generally for BB's tied to large corporations.

Why when Sprint will roam on VZW free of cost and with Alltel for that Matter....Fact is you cant get more coverage then what Sprint offers you.....

With VZW it mostly VZW coverage or no coverage. Especially true from CT down to DC. So dont let Verizon have an outage or your SOL.

Now if you live in said area where there's no Native Sprint coverage then Yes you're better off looking for an alterative.

But to make it seem like people who happy to travel to these area's are left out in the cold with Sprint, is just fictious at best......
