Got a replacement phone today. backed it up and then used DM to change devices. Everything goes smooth except all my BBM contacts now say unavailable.

I thought using the DM to do a device swap pushed your new pin out to your contacts in the bbm? Am I wrong about this or did I do something wrong?

If you use DM 5.0 it should update all contacts with your new PIN. You might also check your VZW BIS page to confirm you have updated your new PIN/MEID info.

In BBM you can update your new pin number which changes your pin with your contacts.
