    i tried to activate a storm on sprint and they said they dont activate phones from other carriers is this true!

    Yes that is true. sprint will only activate a phone that is sprint branded.

    Why do you have a Storm? Did you just jump ship from VZW? Sprint has never activated VZW phones. I don't think VZW takes to kindly (or activates) Sprint phones either.
