YES there is still hope for your blackberry!! You have to go somewhere locally to a unlock shop. Search the internet for a local unlocking company and they can plug some chords into your phone and do it right there! It will cost a little bit more but you have to have the phone there physically with the unlockers. cellunlock, another unlocker can give you more details about that if you want to pm him.

Please help me we have blackberry 9550 verizone network blocked handset , please guide me how to unlock my mobile.

As all of you know, and most impatient ones even experienced it, Blackberry gives 10 attempts to enter the MEP code. After 10 attempts are exhausted the phone starts displaying message MEP code (0 left).
Up until recent days there was no cure for this, the phone would stay permanently locked to the network even if correct code is obtained later.

Such Blackberry phones can be unlocked. You can finally turn your "paperweight" into a fully functioning phone again.

    All Blackberry versions are supported:
    8100 Pearl, 8220 Pearl Flip, 8300 Curve, 8310 Curve, 8320 Curve, 8520 Curve, 9000 Bold, 9700 Bold, 8110 Pearl, 8120 Pearl, 8310r Curve, 9100 Pearl 3G, 9105 Pearl 3g, 9500 Storm, 9550 Storm 2, 9650 Tour, 9700 Bold, etc

Please ask any questions you might have in this thread.

These are the steps you need to follow but for this you need unlock code. You can get it by sending us your mobile details,
    1. Insert any sim card
    2. Scroll and select "Manage connections"
    3. Select "Turn all connections off"
    4. Press "Escape" to go back to the "Home" screen
    5. Go to "Options" menu and select "Advanced options"
    6. Select "SIM card"
    7. Select "Show keyboard" ( For 9530, 9500 only. Put your phone sideway to get full keyboard )
    8. Typing MEPD. You will not see text appear on screen while typing. This opens up a personalization menu
    9. Typing MEP2. You will not see text appear on screen while typing
Press ALT and 2 simultaneously to get number 2.
    10. You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code"
    11. Enter supplied unlock code
    12. After entering the code press enter key or the trackball once
    13. Restart your phone and restore connections by following the first two steps
    14. For CDMA Storm, go to Options, then Mobile Network, on the third row switch it to GSM/UMTS
