Is that how this works? I went through a lot of trouble to get the unlock code for my last tour. That one broke and I got a replacment. I have both in hand until the end of the day, when I mail the original back.
Can I take the SIM card out of the old one and use it in my new one?
if your replacement tour has the SIM card in it there is no need to swap. all later tours are unlocked by default. look in your SIM card tab on the replacement. it should say security disabled or some such...
Thanks for the reply but I'm confused now. What the heck did I unlock earlier? I went through all this trouble to get my unlock code from Sprint. Apparently it was a big deal to do so.
It was then, because you had to go through all these "requirements" but then Sprint figured they would just unlock them all, I almost had my 1st one unlocked but I figured since I was getting a new one I wouldn't even bother.
Maybe it was something else? did you check?
It is provisioning right now. I will let you know.
It says SIM Card: Security Disabled.
What SIM card is in the phone has no effect on if it is unlocked or not. At least for Verizon.
