You can have globe, smart or sun prepaid sim card. They are everywhere. You'll be able make calls and send sms and mms with those prepaid sims. No bis though. Preppaid bis is not yet available here.

i bought a storm 9530(used), i cant found the browser icon! already done this step (options>advanced options>hostrouting table>menu>regiter now), but still i cant succeed.
btw, im under plan1200 of globe. i havent avail yet the Php700 additional, accdg to globe this is for the use of email..

I'd wipe and re-install the OS. If it does not work still, download through DM BOLT or opera mini. They both work without bis.

There are instructions posted all over this site. Search it. Download jlcmder to wipe and then re-install os.

Good news to smart prepaid users. Smart philippines has just launched theur unlimited blackberry internet service for 50 php for one day or 300 php for 7 days! Those who do not have bis yet, I recommend this since it is wayyyyy cheaper than globe's postpaiid pis. You can check Home - Smart Communications for more info.

What's your sim? If your sim is globe. Globe only. If your phone is globe locked. Globe only. You can't use your bis on smart and globe unless you come from abroad and your roaming here
