It's most likely a glitch in Globe's system BUT I subscribed last month to BBMAX999 and I received a text message last Friday (Aug. 19) telling me that my subscription is expiring in 3 hours. Lo and behold, after 3 hours, it's still working... And well, it's still working 'til today.

ANYWAY, aside from WhatsApp and LiveProfile, are there any messaging apps for BOTH BlackBerry and Android? Thaaanks!

Most definitely we'll get the 9900 but not the 9930. The 9930 is a CDMA kind of phone. Which our carriers dont use here in the Philippines.

    Hi guys!

I'm a new Blackberry 3G 9300 user and I have no idea how some of the stuff work. I'm a prepaid Globe subscriber and I want to know how I can have BIS and how much it would cost.

Also, what map app do you guys use? I tried Google Maps but it doesn't work on my BB.

    Please Help!

    meron pala nito dito haha

the 9900/9930's differences is just the CDMA part. the 9900 has the same chipset as the 9930 thus it theoretically supports CDMA pero na disable lang ng software ng 9900 (think Storm 2 9520/9550)

madami na nagbebenta ng 9930 dito but people will wonder how to remove the "Activation Required" message on top of the homescreen. I guess this is why most vendors are selling this up to 10k cheaper than the 9900s.

so bottom line the difference between the two phones is the software that supports the CDMA radio stack

so where is that place selling 9930's? Activation Required? for unlocking the phone or what?

haha suki ng taga philmug. meron din sa facebook/sulit at 30k.

Activation Required message. This only happens on CDMA-capable Berries. This also happened on my unlocked Storm 2 9550. May few extra steps lang kailangang gawin within the phone to remove that message. pero even with the message displayed all services are working.

sana tumuloy deal ko sa biyernes at bibili ako ng 9930 to test!

Yes, 9930 will work here! A cousin of mine had 9650 (Sprint) which he bought from GH or a source yata. He uses it with his Globe's plan and works like a charm.

@TailGater bro, where can we buy 9930 locally, do you know any source? I'm really interested. TIA
