i successfully tethered my playbook with my bb phone, but when i tried to use the browser it just keeps loading same with facebook app. I'm using bbmax. tia.

you need to have it unlocked if it is an at&t locked phone. upgradimg the os wont unlock it. if it is an open line at&t branded phone, you may already insert your simcard.

i agree completely. for early adopters, thats what you pay for. if you can wait a month or two, im sure it will drastically go down.
i cant wait to get my hands on one. globe will surely carry the new bbs but im sure it wont be anytime soon.
hello. i just wanna ask for help. every time i registre for bis of smart, i would receive the confirmation that i could use bis already the following day. which tends to suck because i registred for bb 1 day. the same goes for bb week and bb month.
and also, all apps works via wifi, except appworld, which says ' the data set is not operational '

I'm not a smart sub but what I do is restart my phone after I receive a txt confirmation from globe that they are activationg my bis. This hastens activation and have always worked for me. I hope this helps.

And also, my app world worked thru wifi before, but now, the data set is not operational... but other apps will work fine, well except google maps. Isn't it suppose to work thru wifi?

Hi, are you still having problem with your phone? I've heard from a friend that Smart BIS has been down lately. But now, its back to normal and should work fine. Also, take note that AppWorld won't work thru wifi. Yes, before it can connect to wifi kasi hindi ka pa nkaregister sa iyong carrier BIS. Sa Globe, kasi you must be subscribed to BB MAX instead of BB SOCIAL in order to login to these apps (that needs BIS); AppWorld, Google Maps, BerryWeather, uBersocial, etc. Hope this helps.

The only way to bring down the price to proper is just not buy it first and wait for the price to crash when people don't show interest in buying an overpriced for phone for its specs and competition.
It's a nice phone, it just needs to be priced right when it arrives here.
If RIM or Globe or Smart or Sun or retailers are smart, they would price it right Right From The Beginning to get the cash of the people before they could spend it elsewhere such as other phones.
