You can swipe to ignore the corrections too. That's what makes BB10 keyboard the best for me. You can choose to use or not to use the suggestions flawlessly.

Want to consult something, sensible thoughts are appreciated:
Planning to purchase the Passport through my friend who resides in Dubai. Got a few complications though.
1. Friend says that phones there are already locked when purchased. First option is to have the device unlocked in Dubai. Second option is to have it unlocked here. Problem is, where can I have it unlocked here?
2. How much will be the cost of tax in the customs? Planning to use Cebu Pacific Cargo. He said though that the cost of shipping through Cebu Pacific will be inclusive of the tax. Hence, Cebu Pacific will take care of the process with the customs. All I have to do is pick it up at the airport.
3. Are all units of the Passport (not sure if there are variations still) compatible with our networks here. I'm on Globe.

Have no idea yet about the cost of shipment and unlocking of the device. My friend there will just take care of it. LOL! Where can I find unlockmenow?
What he told me was that the device will cost cheaper if bought in Dubai, somewhere around 20K Php+ but of course additional costs for shipping, cargo and unlocking.

1. Locked passport and unlocking it? Hassle.
2. Shipping costs money and isn't that cheap plus the customs tax etc.
3. There's only ONE variant of the passport and yes it's compatible with any network including globe.

In summary, just purchase it here locally. I think it will be cheaper overall, less hassle overall, no Arabic print on the keys, and you can examine the device before purchasing it (if you live in the metro for a meetup or pickup).

Try youpoundit.com they sell passport and they said it's with warranty. It's worth a try rather than going thru all those hassles.

Check out the BlackBerry Kiosk at SM North EDSA Annex. I checked it first week of December and saw a person trying out the new Passport. They have a dummy Passport for display but they also have stocks just in case someone gets interested . Just the black one though.
