i just realized the Passport runs on a nano-sim. im still on a micro-sim since thats what my Q10 needs, so if i have to cut the sim down to size (again), i give up having to use my Q10?

i'm not sure im ok with that
If you're on contract, Globe allows SIM change free. The one I recently got has three cuts: mini, micro, and nano.

nah im on pre-paid, easier to maintain given my travel conditions and payments. but my sim is like.... 3 years old and it was cut down to size when i got my Q10, are they gonna replace the entire sim card when i get this process done? do i still get to keep my number?

No, you can't keep your number. And I'm not sure if that (free change) works for prepaid SIM cards.
You can change sim cards. In my case. From regular to micro. Just paid P40 and they were the ones who transferred the contacts from the old sim card to the new one. Retained number of course.

Those custom fees are a pain in the ****. I bought my friend a watch here in the US and shipped it to the Philippines. The custom fees was an extra $5,000 php. I felt bad for my friend haha

When buying watches, best bet is to hand carry it to avoid being taxed. Another way of doing it is declaring it otherwise. Risky though.
it says its retailing for $6288 HKD, thats roughly P36k here. *low whistle* kinda steep innit? that would be a little over $800 USD, a far cry from what Chen said $599 USD
