Got the Blackberry Z3 yesterday. And yes, it doesn't look or feel cheap. It's a very solid device. Had the OS upgraded. So far what I find remarkable about the device is the battery life. It does not drain quickly. From 7:30 up to now 2:30, battery life registers at 82%, well this is considering the fact that it alternates between 2G and 3G. Network signals here in Legazpi are still unstable since Typhoon Glenda. Though it only packs 5MP of cam, photos don't look downgraded either. Looks like a Z10 cam output but not as crisp. The front camera gave out results better than my cousin's Sony Experia C. It feels good to the hand too. The soft-touch back side is really smooth to the fingers. Will share more info about it these coming days. I'd say the Z3 is worth it. Ron thanks for the clarification about the OS updates.

There's a BlackBerry Z10 display at Globe Business Center. I asked the Globe rep if they still sell BlackBerry. Sabi nya there's no more available unit. Wala nmn sya negative sinabi about our beloved BlackBerry. .

I'm from Legazpi City. We have a gadgets store based here and they also ship to other parts of the country. Actually, I was surprised when they confirmed that they can obtain the device for me. The retail in Manila I suppose works within the price range of 10,700 - 11,300. But since they have to bring it here in Legazpi City they priced it at 11,990. I paid half of the price as the down payment (a minimum of 3000 is what they usually accept). I picked up the device from their store here on the exact day they told me. I had a z10 before but lost it to some evil schemer. I thought of buying a q10 or another z10 but when news of the launch of Z3 in the country hit the net, I immediately researched about the device. Truth is, the Z3 is just as similar as the Z10. There were only a few downgrades of the specs which I think I didn't mind. The Z3's camera may not be as crisp as the Z10 but it delivers really good photos. (Will take pictures in various conditions and upload them here one of these days). The Z10 is LTE ready while the Z3 is limited to 3G. Processor may be a downgrade but it performs no less than other BBs. The great thing about the Z3 is the battery life. It drains slowly even when in heavy use. And it only trickles when on standby. A plus for the device - the large screen! I'm just loving it. Next stop, the Passport!

The only pros I can see with Z3 if you compare it with Z10, is the big screen and longer battery life. Other than those pros mentioned, Z10 is hands down the best. Get a Z10.

Well, it's not that simple. The Z3 offers newer hardware, better chance of compatibility in the future.

I strongly agree with you Ron. It does offer a different experience. Coming from a Z10, I don't actually feel the Z3 to be a downgrade.
