Some points I hope would be brought up: Whatever BlackBerry offers abroad, BlackBerry Philippines should offer here as well -- aside from the Z10 and Q10, sell the Q5, Z30, Z3, Q20/Classic. Give the consumers several choices. Make deals with the carriers and electronics stores about promotions and store displays and user plans. Invest in more advertisements and marketing. Have BlackBerry Philippines open a physical store where clients can buy phones off-contract. Sell at competitive pricing.

Just came from Globe @ MOA and saw the Q10 on display with sign saying free at Plan 999. I pretended to be surprised and told the salesgirl (or whatever she was) "wow ang mura na ng plan nya"! And she replied "Ah kasi Sir konti na lang stocks nya kasi diba nagsara na Blackberry". Boy oh boy, I wanted to slap her face right then and there and demand who told her that. I told her BlackBerry is still operating and the person from whom she got her info should be reprimanded. She just smiled. Hayz.

As far as I know, there is no data capping when it comes to BIS, since data is already compressed. Throttling is only implemented in the regular data plans.

Can anyone confirm this? Any official word?

It has cap nga po. I have BB MySuperPlan 999 (P600 bbmax + P400 consumable). Inserted SIM into a Globe Tattoo USB stick, I networked 3 computers used by 3 persons... maximized use (torrent download, youtubing, video chat) all went well for more than a month. Saya ng life bec of 3mbps, no limit! Until one day I received a msg saying I have consumed 800mb for the day... this is under their FUP. I continue to use my BB plan, but no longer that way. Pa-installed na lang ng PLDT.
