More likely than not most carriers around the world already have the latest 10.2 on their servers and are just testing it. If a mistake happens to approve a random device on their servers you'd get the glitch to appear. So maybe someone goofed at corporate HQ and mis clicked the switch. Then they immediately rectified it hence lack of actual update.

Had a chance to compare sun Cellular and smart communication services using the same device (Z10) roughly going the same places

Sun -
setting is 3G only because if I choose 3G & 2G option it has a tendency to always be on 2G. And Sun 2G data service is almost useless.

Battery life is at 4 to 6 hrs on the stock Z10 battery on 3G.

Talking on the phone while moving gets cut most of the time. Like in marcos higway signal dies twice everytime on the same places

3G signal almost none at fort Bonifacio area.

Smart-
Setting can be set at 3G&2G mode but did not see my phone go to 2G mode. Signal strong BUT once internet was very slow even though signal is very high.

Battery life is 8 to 12 hrs

Talking while moving seems fine rarely I get cut unless im calling Globe or Sun subscibers (go figure)

Strong 3G signal at fort bonifacio area even inside SM Aurora

Only download the one for your device - let's say STL 100-1 then DL STL 100-1.Yung sa pangalawang picture, mirror lang yun so either one sa kanila as long as it matches your device.

Weird, got an update notification tonight saying Runtime has an update. Release date is November. Installed it hoping it would solve my wife's viber and candy crush issues but, sadly, it didnt.

Guess, have to wait for 10.2.1

Are you sure it's locked with Globe? Have you tried to insert a Smart or Sun sim? I thought I was also locked with Smart but was surprised to know that a Globe sim is working. Looks like yung mga devices from our carriers are compatible to all networks.

There are many factors affecting battery life and signal is one of them. Usage is another. Would be interested to know how Globe perform in your "roughly" same places you tested sun and smart.

According to the settings in the picture everything is unlocked. Have you checked with your local carriers there if the sim card you are using is provisioned? Aka activated? Do you get a sim card not provisioned error?

Did you make sure globe activated lte already on your account? Had the same problem before. Got my z10 from them.inclusing my lte sim but they didn't even bother to.actibate it until I requested

I got message on signal "Simcard provisioned MM#2" if i asked my local carrier here they will tell me im not allowed to used other simcard. My DU simcard from UAE is getting signal thru Smart carrier from other phone. Is my local carrier did something on their blackberry z10 locked only 1 simcard that you cannot unlocked thru os version update even if its says unlocked showing on the photo i posted here?
