If I went around first and saw memo express I would have bought my wife's z10 from them than kims. The 2yrs warranty they're giving is way better than kims few days limited warranty.
No it is not but I wouldn't mind if it is cdrKing brand. They sell a lot of junk but they are a few things that are good.
One is 8g micro sd . I tried a couple for hd recordings and did some comoarisons useing sone orogram and surprisingly the cdrking brand scored better than most and at par with class 10 transcend sd cards.
Another is their battery bank. I got a 2500mah (I think) about 2years ago and I abuse it like crazy. Once it totally died from charging two tablets and after a good charge it still works. It charges my z10 to full capacity with ni problem
Oh cdrKing usb cable is crap. Two months and it's gone.
Never complain to their customer service hot line. =)

apparently no, coz i've been a regular caller. haha..it only means that after the 2-year lock-in period, you'd opt to extend another 2yrs with either the same plan or upgrade. basically a re-signing/re-contracting...luckily the z10 was available in that globe store because the hotline voice told me that it was out of stock. so i just muscled my way into getting one on that same day. hehe
Well actually both... Regarding rapid price cut, parang extreme naman masyado yung q10 saka z10... Q10 ngayon nasa 16-18K, tapos Z10 nasa 12-14K wala pang 1 year lumabas sa Pinas... originally nasa halos 30k yung dalawang phone...
Only MemoXpress (which also runs the BlackBerry pod in SM North) is selling these phones at these prices, as far as I know. Globe and most other stores, including the BlackBerry pod in SM Megamall, still sell the Q10 at the 29k-30k+ price range. I just asked around today.

I reckon that the price drop is mainly due to the fact that there are only a few true bb users here in the country. I said "true" because there are people out there who buy bb's just to try it out, then they couldn't do some of the things they're accustomed to with their iphones and androids, spreading news that it's no good. I mean let's face it, we're a country that is inclined to getting the "in" things. Unfortunately, the z10 was only popular when it was launched...my personal opinion only though. hehe

All electronics experience price drops. The problem is apple / Samsung have made the product cycle "faster" meaning the latest and greatest is only a couple of months away. This greatly decreases price as the new flagship is priced accordingly and the older phone lower.
I've never liked the look of Samsungs. Even before they went Android. Their phones look like appliances, not gadgets. They never had the style of Nokia, the unmistakable look of BlackBerry or the sophistication of iPhone. Plus their phones all look the same.

That is true, but production mainly depends on how it will do once out in the market. Samsungs and iPhones sold like pancakes so naturally production went up. And since the z10 is an "old" model, prices will drop and with the demand low, what can we expect right? But in less than a year out, the z10 has gone down almost 50%..i mean reality is, this phone is not for this country's majority mobile phone users. Shame, coz this phone is awesome. Hehe
