curious lang! bakit mas mababa ang plan ng Q10 compared sa z10? tapos Q10 pa ang naunang magka update. Globe naman, magtatampo mg z10 users nyan!

I hope we can find battery performance comparisons between countries.
No need to check between countries. Just observe battery life in different locations. When I am in the commercial district of Makati or Green Hills my Z10 sips battery power. When I get home it starts to guzzle juice.

Same thing with my previous phone which was an Android.

Good point. But what I'm after is finding out if a 12 to 16 hour battery life (with average use, not on standby) is possible with the Z10.

I get about 18 hours before I recharge. This is with Google Mail, calendar, contacts and talk active. Remember linked to Outlook Tasks. Twitter notifications and BBM enabled.

Using the Ti I map version on Smart.

But when I am home, drain is heavier. Maybe get about 12-14 hours.

How about download an app like Pens us SysInfo and maybe we can start a database of Signal Strength indication. I think we maybe able to link battery life yo this.

    Regards.

Just installed 10.2.0.483 running 340 radio:

    App manager:

    Native evernote:

Option for lock screen preview :

Globe and Smart users from the Philippines-img_00000003.png

A lot more new features with settings in native cascades, toast (instant actionable notification), priority inbox and even more. For email accounts though, max in this build is 90 days unlike option for forever sync in the 4537 MR. I haven't had a chance to tinker with it longer but man, this is the fastest and snappiest build I've tried, no lag at all. Will update in 24 hours how the OS behaves on Globe.

PS: build is a mash with dev build included so pin is watermarked on four corners. No biggie.

    For those interested:
Leaked: 10.2.0.483 OS only for STL100-2/3/4 and SQN100-1/2/3/4/5

*if you already have 10.2 running, you can opt to just install the 483 OS, caveat is you don't have jellybean running which is in the .341 dev os.

The official 273 for the STL 100-1. Are you using the STL 100 -2?

Found this info on signal strength.

    -105 to -100 = Bad/drop call
    -99 to -90 = Getting bad/signal may break up
    -89 to -80 = OK/shouldn't have problems, but maybe
    -79 to -65 = Good
    Over -65 = Excellent

When home I am in the high 80's which I think is the cause of heavier battery drain.

Dev Os radio mashed with leaked 483 Os. You have to install twice.

    New weather app (native):

I do, especially after disconnecting from a wifi I would have a small letter 3g or h+ and have to restart my phone.

    Sorry for the typo.

If you are in areas without LTE I suggest turning off the LTE radio if you can.

My sister in law had similar problems with her Galaxy. Since Smart LTE coverage is in selected areas only her phone would keep going back to 3G/H/H+ and LTE depending on the place. This seems to have resulted in heavy battery drain so I turned LTE off. My sister in law who uses the phone says battery life improved. She turns on LTE only when she streams video in an LTE covered area.

When LTE coverage expends, this won't be necessary anymore.

You can try to turn off networks and turn it on again, or try turning data service on and off, it works for me.

That was after installing a new leak. After a day my signal has stabilized and no more problems like that occur.

It is very smooth on the Z10. Do you sideload? If no, then okay. If not, the updated runtime makes using ports feel like native apps.
