Yes and the Passport comes with a Php 19k cashout. The offers are not as flexible as with their iPhones and Samsungs. Unlike before - I got all my BlackBerries (Bold, Torch and Z10) via recontracting/retention programs with Globe without any cashout.

...and then I got across a BlackBerry Priv at The Hive. Ang ganda pala talaga sa personal.

I want to ask those who migrated from BB10 to the Android BlackBerry Priv - was it a smooth transition like the BB7 to BB10 device migration? Thanks.

for me, the basic stuffs (like contacts, text messages, some documents / notes) was a smooth transition. there is what's called "Content Transfer" that backs up your BB10 stuff via SD card or cloud and the you can re-download these when you're on your Priv. so that part was easy. the only part I found tricky was having to remember which apps to download again for me to even use the settings/ profiles that was backed up by Content Transfer in the first place. and unfortunately, some of the apps I was using on my Q10 are native to the BB10 ecosystem, wala syang katapat sa Android (but there are tons of alternate apps that does the same functions). so ganun yun ginawa ko.

for me, the transition from BB10 to Droidberry isn't difficult naman. I mean sure you'll miss some of the navigation / features of the BB10 environment, but features like the Hub and Active Frames (now called Recents) have been integrated into the Priv.

    hope that helps dude.

Make sure your simcard has LTE enabled on it or is LTE compatible. Otherwise, you need to visit Globe and have that simcard replaced.

OK naman, just make sure to replace the two Android .bar files with the ones from 10.3.2.2813.

"The .bar file extension is associated with the BlackBerry OS 10 an QNX Unix-based operating system for smart phones and tablets developed by BlackBerry (formerly Research In Motion).
The .bar file stores installation application package for BB OS 10 created in Momentics IDE a default developing tool for BB OS 10. Momentics can also import .bar package to developer's phone."
