Fair Usage Policy, matagal na ito, and is applicable for those who have the old Unli Data Plans (included BBMax). Still unli data ka pa rin pero the net speed is decreased to be fair for the other users. I don't think Globe is still offering BBMax. Though nasa *143# pa rin ata, hindi na ata ma-access ito, nabasa ko sa forums ng Globe Community.

The pro of the old Unli Data Plan and BBMax is unlimited internet, downside, slow net once you've reached 1.5G and then 3G. While yun sa mga bago, they will not experience a slow down in their connections even if they reached their data plan's limit, only they will be charged per byte but still same net speed.
    Correct.

Using my BlackBerry Z30 here in Dubai and am getting 4G signal thru Etisalat... Cleared calls compared to Globe or Smart in Manila... even if on 2G data is ok, only thing is Internet is sold per MB, i.e. 500MB or 1G but at least still faster than we have back home...

I'm not against telcos retiring their unlimited plans, as long as they improve their speed, so that no data is wasted reloading pages and/or videos. I think 10 GB/month is sufficient even for heavy mobile users.

Hi all, anybody experiencing problem sending BBM message from a Globe data plan? Im in postpaid and there are plenty of instances where i send a msg and the icon remains gray with sending logo. At time i send similar msg using whatapps or sideloaded viber and both are ok so meaning the data connection (3G or H+) is ok

I dont like BUCKET Plan... still UNLIMITED Plan pa rin. Matatalino ang telco... imagine, kung naka BBMax 599 then you dont need to subscribe any Call and Text anymore kasi lahat padadaanin mo na lang sa peer-to-peer like Skype, Messenger at Chicka. So kaya ginawa nilang Bucket Plan para marendahan nila tayo at mapilitan pa rin gumamit ng lumang GSM technology kaysa sa existing VoIP.

I have the same issue. Sometime, I have to either turn off and on network or turn on and off airplane mode. I had this issue both on you z10 and z30 but only when using Globe data. No problem when on WiFi.

As far as I know, there's no unlimited plan in the US. Anyway if you are on the telco's shoes, I'm pretty sure you would do the same.

Nope, I don't. Isa lang problem ko minsan sa net, dunno if it's the Passport's fault. Madalang I have H+ connection, pero hindi naglo load ang page when browsing, even if opening pa lang ng browser.

Happens to me also, just for BBM. Im with Globe. Ang ginagawa ko is on-off the data and/or switch network types. I guess network-related nga kasi okay naman when Im using Wifi.

Same here. Have to reset network connection just to let the bm go thru. We resort to using viber na nga.

Ako naman my issue with Viber (installed via Snap) is kahit naka-silent ang phone tumutunog pa din ang notifications. Feeling ko nga baliktad eh; kapag Normal ang profile, no notifications. Kapag Silent naman, meron. Checked app settings, everything seems fine naman.

I have been noticing that my battery dies quicker now at night than before. Say if I leave it at 50% before going to sleep at 10pm, when I wake up at 530am, the battery is either empty or less than 15%! No apps in the background except data is on, which I only way about 5-6 email notifications upon checking. Anybody has the same ordeal? TIA

You can turn it off under App Permission in Android settings. I use BlackBerry Google ID to do it http://forums.crackberry.com/android...g-page-965257/

I currently have an unlidata plan + unli call and text with Globe tapos yung handset ko is iPhone 5s. I'm planning to buy a Blackberry Passport but I'm planning to stick with the plan that I have right now. Bale ililipat ko lang yung sim. Compatible ba yung postpaid plan ko for a BB Passport? O may special BB data plan pa na kelangan from Globe?

    Thanks!
