Sadly wala, this has been implemented since 10.1. The splash screen will depend on what carrier your SIM is.

There are even instances when the device retains the splash screen even after changing to other carrier's SIM. It can mostly be fixed by a couple soft reboots.

I don't recall seeing a SMART splash screen when I had an unlocked Q10 with a SMART SIM installed. But that same unlocked unit showed a GLOBE splash screen when it had Globe SIM installed. So maybe it's just Globe? I have a Globe-locked Q10 now, so I can't test anymore.

There is no SMART splash screen. Only Globe's. I once inserted a Globe SIM and after a couple of days, removed it and installed a Smart SIM. Kahit na Smart na ang nakalagay, nare-retain pa rin yung Globe splash screen. It's a rare bug and it can mostly be fixed with a couple reboots.

I used an Unlocked Z10 and Z30. They don't display the Smart splash (just the generic BlackBerry logo) but Globe is.

It's because SMART doesn't have that "splash screen" wallpaper embedded on their SIM cards. Only Globe's. It appears even on STL100-1.

You only have one player to use and that is the flash player built in the browser. You cant install anything else.

Now does it work streaming GOT? Absolutely. Regardless of the content, as long as it is supported by the browser (in this case, flash) yes it will work.
