I have to get rid of my data plan because my bill is getting too high! Is it possible that I can just use the normal internet like the 5.99 email like on regular phones, I know some ppl said that I could. Is it possible??

Man I'm going to miss bbm

Do you have the $19.99 UNLIMITED data plan?

That was the FIRST thing I made sure I got when I signed up for my plan

Sorry for not explaining corectly, I'm on a family unlimited plan and my bill is $150.00 and when I added the blackberry data plan that's a extra 20 dollars. So the bill is nearly 2 hundred dollars so I had to cancel

I understand. I wouldn't drop it if you can. Is there somewhere else you can drop services? Cable? Home phone or internet service?

I'm not completely sure about T-mobile so I could be completely wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Blackberry has its own internet which would cause you to have to buy their data plans. I went on tmobile and clicked a Curve and the only internet plans possible that came up were the BIS ones. That's definitely the deal with Verizon (though I know they are 2 different companies). Your best option would be just to call and ask. Sorry you have to cut back on some stuff!

You can use the $5.99 data plan and still access the internet. Just put that your phone is something different than the blackberry. I put that my phone was the RAZR and was able to select T-Mobile Web.

You won't be able to use bbm or get e-mail straight to your bb. You will be able to use the browser (just change the default browser in general setting to T-Zones.) You will not be able to use any third-party programs like Google maps with the caveat that a small few programs like Beejive will still work but only over the WiFi and not on EDGE.

if you need email only you can do that for $9.95 - - my wife has that for her B-Berry on T-Mo because she didn't need the full data - - she can still use B-Berry Messenger and also limited T-Zones, and of course email is unlimited.
