Get 3G symbol on any VZW BB with 5.0

Have you been one of those individuals deciding which hybrid or leaked OS to run based off of whether or not a build has the "3G" symbol?? Or are you running an official OS but think 1XEV is UGLY looking??? Well fret no more Verizon users, Driphter from BBHybrids has created a patch that can be installed over any 5.0 based OS that will bring the 3G symbol to life on your device! This applies for any device... the only requirement is that you are on VZW and running 5.0!

This patch can be easily installed via BBSAK so it's quick and painless. Currently, there is no patch that will bring the 3G to Sprint users, but I can promise you it is in the works and hopefully not far behind this patch.

My apologies for missing the link initially, I updated the OP.

I have not heard if it works for Telus or any other CDMA provider yet, you can give it a try. I know it does not work on Sprint yet.

I agree it's just a symbol but you wouldn't believe how many people freak out about that symbol..... Once they see it on their phones they never want to hear about 1XEV again.
