I'm updating my unlocked AT&T Q10/SQN100-1 now. My unlocked non branded Q10 and Z10 have an OS 10.2 update already. I will be curious what if any difference there might be with what AT&T has released...

And your point is? I started this thread to let folks know that the update appeared on BlackBerry Link. Even though I also have unlocked branded AT&T Q10/SQN100-1 it still wasn't getting the updated OS...now it did.

Sorry you feel this thread should be restricted to only "locked" devices...

my phone automatically updated to this version. I was not going to do it until I saw if there was any benefit. I am concerned with what "goodies" AT&T may have included in this release. I guess i need to turn off the automatic update option

My Q10 that just updated on BlackBerry Link is a "branded" AT&T phone...it wouldn't update to OS 10.2 prior to this being pushed over BlackBerry Link even though it is unlocked.

I'm on AT&T using 2156 and my phone says I have the latest update. I tried link, it also says I have the latest update. Does anyone know why the update doesn't show on my phone or through Link?

I'm on AT&T and have a Q10... the automatic update keeps saying the file is too large unless connected to wifi, umm... I AM CONNECTED TO WIFI! Keeps pausing. smh

*UPDATE* I rebooted the phone and connected direct to the pc and voila! UPDATING... lol

Is there any hope for Blackberry? I mean really! ... I got the notification that the AT&T 10.2.1.2179 was available, so I connected to my PC and used the *new Blackberry Link. Download failed, twice! So I ejected and went home, and tried again over my home wifi (wicked fast) and the download seemed to take forever and never finished, just hung. So I had another go when I got to work, over wifi, again a really good reliable fast wifi, and it took 40 minutes. When it was complete, the installation started and it took from 08:07 to 09:15 .. which is okay I guess, but then..!!!! when it was done, it started the download all over again. WTF is going on?

me again... just noticed something else. when the downloaded started again after the 40 minute installation process, I notice that the size of the update is now 2GB, whereas the first download was 666MB. It appears I'm downloading and installing two separate updates, yet they have the same name: 10.2.1.2179.
How many people in the USA are staying loyal to Blackberry these days?... I wonder.. because it seems like there's no buzz, no excitement and I see very few new posts on blogs or anything. Has everyone abandoned this sinking ship already?

Could be AT&T error and not BlackBerry. I would contact them, after all they took forever to release it. So it should be the most perfect release with all the testing they claim they were doing

I had a similar experience with two downloads. I received a brand new Z10 a couple of days ago loaded with 10.1. During setup it prompted me to upgrade to 2179, which I did with Link.

Then yesterday, another prompt to 2179, 1.1GB (the same size as the first). This time I did it OTA. The only change I could tell was I could no longer install or run Android apps. I restored a Link backup and got that functionality back, but now I'm waiting to see if there will be another "update."
