So does anyone have an answer as to why my email icons stay generic and don't switch to the Yahoo icon? They did on my 8300 Curve...I know its been asked but never saw a solution...

Do you have to download the Yahoo! To Go app for that to happen? If it's just pushed through the BIS account, I don't think it will change the icon of your email.
I am having same issue... had the yahoo icon then after a battery pull it went back to the generic email icon... deleted and setup up again.. yahoo icon came back.. then after another reset the generic icon came back.. i've found other with this same problem that say its a bug on this new OS =(
